Brenden and his newest piano stuff

Brenden recently played in a piano competition. He did really well and also has just started with a new teacher. He started his first lessons in the fall and has already advanced 4 levels. He went through his third level in one month. He pretty much wakes up and plays the piano from 6am to 8 am before school and then plays again after he gets home from school. His teacher said he is the only 8 year old he has ever taught that has advanced that many levels in that short of an amount of time.. I'm pretty proud of him. He also will ask me to play him stuff on the piano and then when I do, he sits there and watches my hands and tells me everything I am playing wrong. He is pretty cocky.

Ian also started playing soccer. They have asked me to coach his team, so on top of school, I have been coaching in the evenings. He is doing great though and already has 6 goals. Every time he scores he starts jumping up and yelling "WHOO HOO"., he is my little shadow and goes pretty much everywhere I do.. I love being a mom. I wouldn't change it for anything.
